Associated professor Jannet Svensson, Ph.D. is working as Chief Physician at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen and is daily leader of the Danish Childhood Diabetes Register. Jannet Svensson have received the Danish Diabetes Associations reward and the Johnny Ludvigsson Award 2018. Since 2015 she has been the headmaster of Danish Study Group of Childhood and Adolescent Medicine and is leading a national quality improvement program for childhood diabetes in Denmark. Further, the leadership of EURODIAB is now part of her research group. Jannet has published 118 papers and four book chapters. She is currently the supervisor of 7 PhD students and two medical students. The main interest is within clinical, mental, epidemiology and diabetes technology research with the overall aim to improve the life with diabetes for children, adolescents and their families.
