Ibrahim A. Hashim is Professor of Pathology, Chief of Clinical Pathology and Director of Clinical Chemistry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), and Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas in the United States. He has over 29 years of experience as a Clinical Chemist and as an Educator. His areas of interests are those of tissue injury and inflammatory biomarkers and diagnostic protocols. He participated in the introduction and development of the rule in/out high sensitivity troponin ACS protocols at Parkland Hospital.
