Dennis Boyle, MS

Dennis Boyle is a Partner and a founding team member of IDEO. Dennis helps lead the Design for Health portfolio at IDEO in its Palo Alto offices. Design for Health is the part of IDEO’s business that works with clients in medical and health-care industries to develop innovative products, services and strategies. Dennis is a consulting assistant professor at Stanford’s d.school, where he has taught courses in product design, human factors design and design for sustainability and creativity. He established and co-teaches “Design for Healthy Behaviors” at the d.school, a course that draws students from each of the university’s graduate schools. The students use the design thinking process to help patient-volunteers with chronic conditions build healthy behaviors and thrive in their practice and development. Dennis holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Industrial Design, from the University of Notre Dame and an MS in Product Design from Stanford.
