I am a DSP engineer (PhD) with over 10 years of experience in signal processing of biomedical signals, systems, and devices. In my current work I lead a team of R&D engineers to drive continual improvement in glucose sensing technology at Medtronic Diabetes, California. In addition, I have conceptualized, designed, applied and clinically validated multiple models and algorithms for various biomedical devices and systems, spanning diabetes (glucose sensors), hearing science (cochlear implants/hearing aids), and epilepsy (EEG). I thrive in an interdisciplinary collaborative environment and have been involved in multiple projects where industry, research institutes, hospitals, and universities work together. My work has resulted in multiple publications and, to date, 10 patent submissions.
