Dr.Anant Nigam is Director, Nigam Diabetes Centre, Jaipur, and is one of the senior most diabetologists in India with over 37years experience. He received his MD from SMS Medical College Jaipur and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow. He was a visiting fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Centre, Boston and The Johns Hopkins University Diabetes Centre, Baltimore. Dr. Nigam has delivered several key note addresses and invited lectures (notably at Johns Hopkins, 1997 and IDF, 2011) and has been awarded numerous orations. He was on the Scientific Committee of the IDF (2011, 2013). He serves as an expert on committees of the Indian Council of Medical Research and is on the editorial board of Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: clinical research and reviews. His area of expertise includes combination therapy of injectable incretins and SGLT-2i. He has contributed to indexed journals and authored chapters for text books.
