Dr. Banerjee is an Assistant Research Professor, at Arizona State University and is also a summer resident faculty at Mayo Clinic. His research focuses on safety certification of cyber-physical systems (CPS) such as artificial pancreas using formal modeling and analysis. The research collaboration between IMPACT Lab and Mayo Clinic Endocrinology Lab has focussed on glucose control in Type 1 diabetes while incorporating non-glucose under critical care conditions in a hospital environment. In this presentation, they are presenting glucose control in a clinic which is the least risk scenario in a hospital.
