Gwen Klinkner, DNP, RN, BC-ADM, CDCES, FADCES is a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and has worked in this role for 20 years. Gwen chairs the Inpatient Diabetes Quality Committee which achieved Joint Commission certification for Inpatient Diabetes Care in 2014 with subsequent recertifications. She provides leadership and clinical support for the inpatient diabetes care and education specialists who provide CGM education for adult and pediatric patients at discharge. Gwen is a Fellow of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and serves on the ADCES Board of Directors.
